FAIS Ombud -
The Ombud for Financial Service Providers have been established to protect consumers from bad advice regarding financial services.

South African Financial Services Intermediaries Association SAFSIA is a representative body for financial services intermediaries in South Africa. -

By partnering Government, South African Police Service, Insurance Companies, 2nd-Hand Dealers and the public, ITCrimes declared war on Computer / Laptop and Cell Phone theft.

Aims to combat the high occurrence of insurance fraud in South Africa.

Ombudsman for Long Term Insurance -
Receives and considers complaints against life insurance companies and aim to resolve such disputes through mediation, conciliation, recommendation or determination.

Pension Funds Adjudicator -
Investigates and decides about complaints lodges in terms of the Pension Funds Act (including Provident Fund and Retirement Annuity Fund).

Life Offices Association (LOA) -
An association of long-term insurance companies conducting business in South Africa. The LOA seeks to promote the interests of the life insurance industry and the insured public.

Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) -
A statutory body established by the Medical Schemes Act to provide regulatory supervision of private health financing through medical schemes. Investigates complaints and settle disputes in relation to the affairs of medical schemes in South Africa.

Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) -
A statutory body established in terms of the Health Professions Act with a mandate to protect the public, all consumers of health care services, and to provide guidance on educational, professional and ethical issues to practitioners.

Medical Research Council (MRC) -
The mission of the MRC is to improve the nation's health status and quality of life through relevant and excellent health research aimed at promoting equity and development.

South African Medical Association (SAMA) -
A non-statutory, professional association for public and private sector medical practitioners. SAMA acts as a trade union for its public sector memebers.
